Staying informed: notifications and monthly report

Notifications on your phone, the sensitive review alert and the report on the 1st of the month.

Notifications

A booking request comes in at 7:40 pm, in the middle of the rush. The email will wait until closing time; the notification won't.

In Notifications, turn them on on each device that should ring: your phone, your manager's. It is done from the device itself, with an up-to-date browser (Chrome, Safari or Firefox). A button sends you a test notification.

What alerts you:

  • a new booking request, with the name, the number of covers and the time;
  • a guest cancellation: the table is freed up, you can resell it;
  • a sensitive review (hygiene, allergy, discrimination, bill or safety).

And nothing else: no tip of the day, no subscription reminder.

Setting the sensitive review alert

Still in Notifications, the Sensitive reviews part lets you turn the alert off, choose the topics that alert you and the channel: notification, email, or both. See Sensitive reviews.

The monthly report

On the 1st of each month, Klarr emails you the report for the past month: covers, Google rating, new guests, and what awaits you. It goes to your Klarr account's address.

In Monthly report (from Notifications, "By email" part), you have a preview, a test send, and unsubscribe.

The Monday reminder

On Monday morning, if Klarr has prepared something waiting for you to act (a review reply, an article, the post of the week, a question from your guests, a listing to update), it sends you a short email: "Klarr has prepared 4 things for you", with the list and a button to your home screen. Nothing prepared, no email.

It is turned off together with the monthly report, in the same place.

Every morning

The simplest is still to open the home screen: the "To do" block tells you at a glance whether there is anything to deal with.
