Connecting your Stripe account

Take deposits into your own account, with no Klarr commission.

Payments, in your venue's left-hand menu.

What it is

You connect your own Stripe account. Not Klarr's.

In practice: your guests' money arrives directly with you, in your account, with your payouts and your schedule. Klarr never holds it and not a single euro passes through it.

If you don't have a Stripe account yet, you create one along the way — it is free, and takes about ten minutes with an IBAN and a proof of identity.

What Klarr takes

Nothing. Zero commission per cover, zero commission on deposits.

It is not a sales promise, it is a property of the setup: Klarr is not a payment intermediary and technically has no way to help itself along the way. You pay your subscription, that's all.

Stripe, for its part, takes its usual fees on payments — that is its business and it is between Stripe and you.

What you keep

Since it is your account:

  • you have your Stripe dashboard, with all the payments;
  • you make your refunds yourself, whenever you want;
  • you handle your disputes directly;
  • your payouts follow your usual schedule.

Once connected

Deposits and card guarantees become available in your rooms' settings. As long as Stripe isn't linked, Klarr doesn't offer to ask for money — it wouldn't know where to send it.

Only the venue's owner can link or unlink Stripe. A manager sees that it is connected, but can't touch it.
